I had been waiting for only 2 weeks but it felt like months! for a product called “Diamond Glaze”. Once it arrived, it was like Christmas, and I was finally able to get started on my glass tile pendants. I studied several sites with tutorials on scrabble tiles, but when I saw the glass tiles I fell in love! Some of the products are the same, and I ordered most all of my supplies off of Ebay. There are some good suppliers on Etsy, but they were already out of stock of my chosen items.

I have always had the challenge of wanting to share the butterflies, but having a VERY limited audience with my large gallery paintings. They have their place and I am soo looking forward to the show at Baptist Medical Center Healing Gallery in August. But so many ladies say they LUV butterflies, and do I have a smaller, more affordable picture?

Butterflies have some powerful analogies that I have found are universal and very emotional for many. Whether it be the butterfly effect, the butterfly struggle, the brevity of a butterfly’s life, or the message of transformation and renewal, we can all relate and find a sentimental bond.

So I am once again offering the art cards which are printed to order on my Etsy store. They are great for framing or sending to a loved one to console or bless or inspire. I left the inside empty for your thought provoking sentiments.

And for reeeally small and even wearable art- my glass tile pendants.

They come in 7 different butterflies, some whole and some broken and tattered. (The butterflies, not the tiles) 2 Corinth. 12:9 Their brokenness is what makes them so beautiful and special.

I have offered a discounted price for everyone who becomes a fan of my Facebook page,  Sophia Dare. Not to be confused with my personal page, there is a tile image in the profile. I know I should have named the business page Dare2Shine, but the facebook people just do not allow do-overs. There are currently 56 fans, who would all have to be asked to skip over, together, to a new page.

No. I will keep it.

I was really tickled to actually wear my blue morph painting on Sunday. Since there are seven designs so far, I will have one for every day of the week!

I would love to narrow down my goals of what I love most to do, but I think I loved the glass tile pendants, and even the photoshoots for all etsy listings, as much as I loved the painting. I love the photoshoots for all things Ebay as well, but do NOT love the details of running an Ebay store. Etsy is user-friendly, it is shopper friendly, it is just plain friendly. I am hoping to have enough business to stay there awhile.
